Did you notice that they changed a line of the song from that episode?

On the DVD, before the episode was ever aired, the song went:
"Though by many they're abhored
Hebrew people I've adored
Even though they killed my Lord
I need a Jew "

But now, when that episode is broadcast, it goes:
"Though by many they're abhored
Hebrew people I've adored
I don't think they killed my Lord
I need a Jew"
It should be noted that Fox didn't even AIR that episode, even after that change. It never saw broadcast until Cartoon Network played it.

And I'm not especially fond of what they are now. They don't give decent shows a chance, bumping them around and giving them crappy time slots in order to showcase new, horrible reality shows. But, yeah, it is rather ironic that they were originally cutting edge and urban and politically incorrect, yet a just a few years ago, they had problems with "Wish Upon a Weinstein."

*Bump* Reviving an oldie...

Was watching this last night when I saw something that really sent me over the edge. There's a scene in an ep (think it was the one where Lois got busted for shoplifting) where Stewie says "I'll never be as cool as Brian", then you see Brian standing outside a bowling alley with a really long, idiotic hair cut. He's hitting on the young girls walking past him and says in a....Hmmmmm....faux-Southern accent "Yeah. That's what I like about highschool girls. The older I get, the more they stay the same. Yeahhhhhh".

Then in the ep where Peter sells Meg to the AV Geek, they lure him to a hotel so Lois can seduce him by telling him there's an X-Men convention. He pulls up to the room on a Segway with a Wolverine style hair cut and fake claws, says "Hmmmmm. They usually have Segway parking at these events".

Was totally rolling.

That first bit with Brian was a reference to the movie Dazed & Confused with that character portrayed by Matthew McConaughey. One of the most famous lines from the movie was delivered in that scene, "That's what I love about these high school girls, man. I get older, they stay the same age." Actually, Wooderson (McConaughey's character) had most of the best lines in that movie. Complete scumbag character, but you love him anyway.

i love the ipecac part from that episode. was laughing in tears! my wife asked if i was ok. i said i was fine. then i rewound it. ahh, the wonders of tivo.

another good part was the church of fonz episode where stewie is in that plastic bubble. he walks into the scene and says, "you would NOT believe the day I had." then cut to the old sesame street pinball song homage with stewie as the pinball.

you know it. i know you do.

Me to, but damn I watched one early this week, the funniest one ever. They all took that crap that makes you throw up and last one to hurl got some pie. It was great, then to top it off some characters from The Herculoids had an appearence! I lol for the frist time at a tv show in years!!!

I'm beginning to think American Dad is comparable to FG now. I was laughing so hard I was crying the other night watching it. The Alien is too damn funny. Took a little while to find it's stride, but man that show rules.

Back to FG: Anyone seen the one where Peter and the guys are shipwrecked and they decide because they've been out there for months that they should go at it for a while? They're all laying on top of eachother naked when Joe says "Well, thank God nobody can see us out here", at which point a cruise ship full of people pulls up and blows it's horn. Next thing you know they're all taking pictures and stuff. Was rolling...
