"i know he had to lie but about everything? lucas made a mistake by not adding a scene in the prequels where anakin asks obi wan to give his lightsaber to his son if anything happens to him
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Lucas should go back and film a scene like that in ROTS during the part when he's flying the burning ship
"

That would be impossible...I mean what's he going to tell him?

ANAKIN: Now we're really picking up speed! By the way, since we're gonna die anyway, I better tell you something master. I'm secretly married to Padme, and we've had sex so many times that its impossible for her NOT to be pregnant, so if we crash and I die but you don't somehow, could you please give my lightsaber to my child when he/she grows up?

OBI-WAN: WTF?!?!

PALPATINE: Damn bro, you're even more twisted than I am!

ARTOO: Beeep bep beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep?!?!

"In ESB Tarkin is dead, and Vader isn't humaniod anymore (in ANH he still was 50% man, 50% machine, in ESB, it was just a heartless cyborg)."

Actually he didn't change at all between ANH and ESB. All that changed was that he was given the command of a starship of his own. But his body/mind did not change the slightest.

"About your changes, I think you should better make the PT fit the OT, and not the other way around, because thats the same mistake GL made, is to make the OT fit the PT, and not vica-versa."

Actually, that is exactly what I was trying to do. If you look at my PT changes, especially ROTS, you'll see a lot of things that, in my opinion, make the tie between the OT and PT 10 times better than the way Lucas has it.
Another thing you have to realize is this: what is the PT? Just a bunch of fancy computer graphics put togethter and called a trilogy. The OT on the other hand, has a lot less of this and a lot more humanity. Adding CGI to a movie after it's already made is easy. Adding humanity to a movie after it's already made is hard, and in some cases, impossible. That's why to establish saga continuity, a lot of changes are going to have to be done to the OT, whereas the changes done to the PT aren't for continuity, but to improve the quality of the movies themselves.

"AOTC was incredibly close to being the greatest Star Wars film ever
...
Almost as close as Paul W. S. Anderson and Uwe Boll are to being directors...
"

Believe me it was. This movie had THE MOST potential of being, not just the best SW movie, but the best movie of all time if it had been done properly. It was supposed to be a LOVE STORY in the Star Wars universe, you can't beat that...and they screwed it up...big time. And like I said, it's at the bottom of my list of favorites. What a shame

"By the way, as far as reediting prequels goes, the first and most important change is eliminating any trace of Wooden Christensen. Everything else is secondary."

I really wish that were possible...but I think we should also give the guy a break because he's had so much criticism over his performance in AOTC...if it wasn't for his improved performance in ROTS, I think his career as an actor would have been finished. I think it's all the director's fault anyway...an actor is a director's tool, and you can't hit the nail on the head if you can't aim the hammer.
