“Somehow, Palpatine returned” isn’t that bad a line. It’s honestly something someone might say if they didn’t understand how he had returned, and had to convey that to a group. Obviously it isn’t great dialogue, or even good dialogue, but it’s not some terrible atrocity of ultimate doom like so many people say it is. I just don’t know why this line in particular gets so much hate when it’s average at worst.
