Heh, heh -- found it! I think that SVCD was always a write-off; the version I found today is ep3-footage.avi, 35MB, and is dated 2004-01-25. It's low-quality (can't really tell what Hayden is saying during his interview parts, and the picture is tiny), but it might be a decent guide track for re-creating the thing with DVD-spec stuff.

Biggest problem would be to find all the tons of tiny clips in amongst all the webdocs, etc., and there might even be stuff that doesn't appear elsewhere. Somebody more familiar with the webdocs than I might have a hope. I do not.
