The one thing George was consistent about 25% of the movie he wanted to make. Why there were 4 special editions? I can understand to a certain extent the idea of this was my original vision. Greedo shooting first could have been achieved in 1977 if that was the intention.
So I don’t believe in the original vision BS. Though I will admit Lucas likely had to make compromises, on technology and money and time. And did not get exactly what was envisioned in his head.
