Unfortunately, YT/Google TV has near bulletproof DRM encryption on studio provided content and most of the downloaders claiming to work do jack zip! Best to do an unprotected HDMI cap from a device like ATV4k at the highest resolution/settings and depending on the HDMI cap audio quality, record the YT audio direct via Audacity then merge the two together.
There’s web-dls that come from DRM encrypted YT content. Scene groups are capable of doing it.
True, but YT is constantly changing their DRM algrithems (like PV when they patchted out old widevine loopholes and limited the visable streams on 4k pc browsers to 1080p) and while they eventually find ways around them, its basically a whack a mole arms game between studios DRM and groups.
