So far this looks fantastic!

I had the same idea to make TPM look more like 1977 ANH. Curious how yours ended up looking especially with film grain as I think that is an important part. I had created as series of premier filters stacked on top of each other to get the look the way I wanted and to match my ANH. Turned out well but have not done much other first 10 minutes or so as a break from other things

I have always been a fan of the Phantom edit where Jar Jar just dies at the waterfall. His story arch is kind of over after he introduces them to the gungans and then gets them to Theed. Very easy to remove him for the rest of the film other than some Tatooine shots, I have been planning out how many FX shots would be needed to seemlessly remove him. I know Phantom did by editing alone, but there are some spots I think could be changed some. That’s me personally I don’t think Jar Jar offers much to story. I suppose it could go either way if his screen time (and all antics) are greatly cut
