is there an 35mm version of all the 3 movies extended edition?

Only FOTR extended has a 35mm scan so far.
In theory it’s possible that someone will find a TTT extended print and have it scanned.
In theory it’s NOT possible that someone will find a ROTK extended print and have it scanned, as 35mm prints were never created in the first place.

Note, I have no personal knowledge about this stuff, I’m just repeating what I’ve read from others since these scans had become available.

Hello,

I’ve quoted you since I can’t send pm as a new account.
It appears that you are knowledgeable about the different releases of the LOTR movies. Could you tell me what would be the best release to watch the extended version of FOTR and TTT ? I’d love to experience the trilogy with the best quality (with hdr if possible).

I’m actually not the best person to ask about this stuff. What I said above is only parroting what others have said (on this forum or on others).
For FotR EE, the 35mm scan of that is an option. Whether it’s the best or not, I don’t know.
For TTT EE, there is no 35mm scan (that I know of). I don’t know what other options are out there.

Maybe others here who are more knowledgeable can chime in?
