I finally watched this fan-edit a couple weeks ago, and I wrote my full thoughts in the private chat. But now I realize that maybe it wasn’t the best idea. If you want, I can copy-paste the comments here so everyone can see my detailed review of this edit, but long-story-short: I loved it. The first 7 episodes had so many subtle changes that massively improved on the source material. Episode 8 is one of the best in terms of restructuring and editing scenes to fit within the new narrative context, and the last 3 were the perfect climax. Unfortunately my immersion started to crack a little after the battle of Winterfell due to a few scenes where I could clearly see they were edited but aside from that this edit makes for a 9.5/10 final season of GoT. Out of curiosity, which editing software did you use? I’ve always been a fan of video editing but never did it in a professional way.
