WOW thank you so much!!
guess we have to wait a few months til we get infos which theater will show the version…
but that helps me a lot and i already have some places in mind:)
These also may be of some use - or merely of interest, mate…
2️⃣ Ⓑ Watching the Original Trilogy for the first time - and introducing the next generation to the theatrical cuts… of ‘An Index Thread for Original Trilogy Discussions’.
^ There are a number of threads in the section discussing various theatres where fans watch the Original Trilogy films for the first time - and these may be of specific interest (amongst the others):-
• Is the theater where you saw Star Wars still standing? (2012 thread)
• Trying to find where I saw Star Wars (2017 thread)
I’ll be watching Star Wars in 2027 at my local art-deco cinema - here - where I’ve seen all of the Star Wars films (even those two Ewok films in the mid-80s!) since moving nearby in '80.
They still keep the food and drink reasonably priced - the benefit of being an independent cinema, I guess.
Hopefully there’ll be a decent Star Wars film out to watch in 2039 - the cinema’s 100th anniversary. 👍
I hope all you good people find somewhere special or meaningful to watch to the 2027 theatrical re-release of Star Wars…
…though I imagine a few of us maybe planning on watching it on the big screen a few times? Maybe at differing cinemas!
