Years ago I acquired a cgi Jabba off of a site called cgtrader. I had an idea of doing this forever, but when I was in grad school I got a student rate for Maya, so I could actually move him around, learn about rigging and lighting and so forth. After that was done I put the digital character against a blue screen background and inserted him into the shot from the blu-ray.

It was a lot of work. I’d have to look for the cgi file, I could probably send it to you. I might be able to just send you the blue screen footage, that might make your life easier (though it might need to be upscaled, I’m not sure).
