The current draft is online at the moment, but I’ve already begun rendering another version that expands the intro. Here’s the new sequence of events for the beginning:

-Modern Star Trek Franchise Logo
-Open on Shaw eating dinner and being introduced to Picard and Riker
-Riker and Picard try to persaude Shaw to alter course, he refuses
-U.S.S Intrepid arrives and Ro detains Riker and Picard for questioning
-We’re introduced to Jack when Seven leads him away to hide him
-Picard and Ro talk in the holodeck, we gather from the conversation Picard has been trying to keep Jack safe

My hope from the way I structured the intro, that it’s conveyed that Jack and Beverly were already on board the Titan when Picard and Riker arrived, already aware what was going on, and they were trying to alter course and go on the run to stay one step ahead of those pursuing them
