Last Christmas is a cute holiday romance, but I felt like it tried to do a little too much with some silly humor and a bit of cringe. So I gave it a light trim to focus more on the core holiday feel-good elements.

Below is the detailed edit list:
-cut the opening choir to keep the movie in the present
-cut German guy - we hear references to him but never see him except at the holiday party
-trim clown
-trim dad talking shit about mom
-trim mom singing her to sleep - it’s a slight continuity error since it’s mentioned later, but I hate it
-trim down the time talking in front of the open bus door so it isn’t absurdly long
-trim slapstick of Kate falling down after her skate audition, feels out of place as she’s growing out of her screwup phase
-trim some of the sister argument, especially the lame dick joke
-retrim Tom touching her in the flat, just seemed weird the way it was shot originally
-cut some of the anti-immigrant stuff except the scene that’s character development for Kate
-cut auditions for holiday show
