on the second release of the Rifftrax version, they used Zion’s Hybrid as their source, including his remaster of the crawl. the crawl, however, predates both the Rifftrax and Zion versions of the special.
the more digging i do, the more i’m resigning myself to the fact that’s its probably just from a random fan dvd/upload that’s now lost to history. will be a longer writeup on this topic in my upcoming project.
