I have a question for the usenet posters out there. If I'm including a 15% set of par2 files, do I need to include an sfv file? And, what should the sfv file be created from? Meaning, I've seen sfv's from the split rars and I've seen them made from video_ts folders. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated
No, you don't need to include an SFV file for Usenet posts. SFVs are more often used for transferring files by other methods (esp. FTP), and are normally used to check the RAR volumes.I have a question for the usenet posters out there. If I'm including a 15% set of par2 files, do I need to include an sfv file? However, it is useful to post some form of verification at the start of the post, either an SFV or the first PAR2 file, so that downloaders can identify any bad files before the PAR2 recovery volumes appear.
