Were there any fan-scan 35mm preservations before Star Wars?
(I do not know which SW scan project should be considered “first” and I do not think we should get into that kind of argument here)
It seems to me that, given the age of this thread (2006! We’re nearly at the twenty year mark!), this could be an important landmark, the post that (at least for many) started it all
