I didn't want to start a new thread for this, so I'll hijack my own thread to say it:

I was watching a show tonight called "The 20 Best Villains," and, of course, Darth Vader was #1. Well, when they were interviewing people about it, Mark Hamill said "You don't need a backstory for Darth Vader. That backstory is understood from the original films."

I was thinking, "Whoa, he wouldn't dare say that on a Lucas camera™."
