Alright, just survived my last trip to the post office and sent out packages for:
snakestorm, Ingo Sucks, WESHALLPRESERVE, dark_jedi, and the remainders for Rebel 11_38, meedermow, and f1209.
This should be it (whew). If I have made any mistakes, forgotten anybody, etc. please let me know. If any of the discs have problems, contact me via email (included in the packages) and we'll get it sorted out.
Meedermow, I'm still trying to get hold of an un-corrupted ESB Farsight version. As soon as I get it, I'll get a copy to you. Sorry.
Anyways, Merry Christmas (again), Happy New Year, and enjoy.
Thank you very much Greg, you are ONE Helluva guy to put out SOOOOO many discs at your expense,i hope it didnt run you dry,do you still have blanks left over for yourself? just as soon as i get the version 3 of ROTJ of the Jedi/Feta DefColl. it will be on its way home to you, also thanks for sending some of my work out to. just cant say enough,YOU ARE THE MAN!!!!!!!! DJ
Greg - believe me you don't have to apologise for anything !
Bear in mind folks all of the time, effort and $'s that have gone into this gesture that bwlag has made. Keep that in mind when you find you are in a similar position to Pay It Forward when others are in need ! I know many people don't need reminding - but the above (time, effort and $'s) that many people put into these ventures can easily be forgotten in the quest to get all the toys in the shop ! Keep it alive and give something back when you can.
A big thanks to all for the kind words - I'm glad that your holiday seasons were brightened perhaps a wee bit.
As several others have already mentioned, please be sure to pay it forward as much as you can, anytime you receive discs from somebody (or help seed, post on usenet, etc). I figure that I would have been willing to spend a fair bit of money on ebay for the OT alone had I not stumbled onto this site, not to mention the money I might have spent on Deleted Magic, SW edits, other movie edits, etc. The amount of money I spend on paying it forward is a small fraction of this potential amount. And while this little "project" was a non-negligible expense, it was worth it, since it made lots of people happy, not just me (especially on a "people per dollar" basis )
And most importantly, big thanks to those who put in the effort and time and expense into producing these wonderful projects that the rest of us get to enjoy so much and to those who keep this community thriving.
I received my discs in the mail. Thank you so much for all of your efforts, both in terms of time, effort, and financially. I echo everyone's sentiments here.
Now I'm going to have a busy new years day watching ADM's Star Wars edits. Looking forward to it.
I shall start the new year offering PIFs - I'll post my list by the end of the first week of Jan.
To you all here - you're a fantastic community. I wish you all a Happy New Year.
I hope everyone has received their discs by now, at least everybody in the US (domestic to me). If you have not, let me know.
Anyways, I have had one person report that their copy of ADM's Episode II had sync problems between video (ahead) and audio (behind) for most of the movie. It seems to be a disc problem, although I do not have such a problem on my copies at home. Has anybody had a similar problem with any of their discs, ADM Ep. II in particular? Has anybody every heard of a bad burn acting like this, or have any other suggestions what it might be?
Well, I haven't had a chance to go through all the movies (I received them on Saturday), but most seem to be working properly. I'll let you know of any issues.
