Season 7 features a newly remastered version of one episode "Tikka to Ride" with apparently new CGI (I haven't seen this one yet so can't comment).
As for the remastered versions of seasons 1-3 - if you really MUST
see them, - they appear on DVD in the Czech Republic market - here's Season 3, Season 2, and Season 1.If you can read Czech... Oh, and you can buy them here.
At least for the rest of the us, the originals were chosen to be preserved to DVD and we don't have to wait around for someone to edit them back to how we remember them
