is THAT why Matrix DeZionized isn't anamorphic and the sound is all quiet? I'm checking it on my PC DVD player first, and the sound is WAY low.

And it looks like it's basically going to be ADM vs CBB at this point.

DeZIONized is made 4:3 as were all early CBB releases and it is PAL, but it is definetly not silent nor low in audio output (at least no one ever complained about that). You may try watching it on your PC, if your DVD player cannot handle PAL properly.

I hope to see deZIONized myself ... it sounded WAY cool from the first time I heard of it, but I haven't seen it yet.

Yeah, that's what I said I was already doing. This dvd is way quiet. I mean, I'll just turn up the volume, obviously

hmmmm...... that is really a pity. The sound is mp2 on this one. There was never a complaint about his before. Currently I have no idea how this could be fixed except for maybe trying to play it with videolan client VLC (just to try it).

ADM, and I am looking really forward to seeing your Pearl Harbor edition, because that sounded very promising. Pear harbor was on our to-do list either, but if you perfected it, there won't be any more need to it. I hope it will soon show up on myspleen.

AND LET'S NOT FORGET THAT U.S. DVD PLAYERS ARE NTSC. I'M HAVING TO WATCH IT ON MY MAC, BUT I FIRST HAD TO CHANGE THE REGION CODE FROM 2 TO 1.

I still have no idea how the region code happened to be ont he DVD, just checked my version in DVD Decrypter and it said "REGION 1; 2; 3; 4; 5; 6; 7; 8;". But there was no need to change the region code still, just install "anydvd" or "dvd regionfree" and the region code should not be a problem anymore. Anyway, I hope you still can enjoy the edition. Gosh, how I hate it when problems occur where you the least expect them.

it was region free on mine. the only problem is the pal... but it plays on my mac just fine. also, bizzle is right, the sound is a bit turned down. nothing a volume button can't cure. heh

I have received the following discs over the past couple of days:

ADM's Revenge of the Sith Special Edition
ADM's Star Wars: Spoofs
ADM's Star Wars: A Musical Journey (no dialogue edit)

CBB's The Matrix DeZIONized
CBB's Doomed by the Boogeyman
CBB's High Tension minus one edit

That's in addition to the discs I received before.

Just to be clear, the Musical Journey & Spoofs discs are to be considered Bonus Features for the saga itself. That was my intent in creating them.

I'd just like to make the judges aware that any and all of the covers or labels I've designed over this 6 months for competition entries are available to view at my personal website Boba's Workshop.

Cheers.

I don't know if I will be able to get my edits in time for this contest or not...
Even if I could, it would have to just be prequels-only at this point. If I hold out for some more raw materials, the OT would be a lot better. And we want that, of course.

The only edit with drastic, major changes to it is AOTC. Among other things, I completely removed the droid factory sequence and replaced it with the two deleted scenes. And I even seamlessly removed R2 and 3P0 from the arena battle. It flows so much better!

My stance on revising fan edits.

AS LONG AS IT'S POST MARKED BY DEC. 31 IT WILL BE ACCEPTED.

Well, I'm pulling out. There's no way I can finish my Advent Children edit in time, and I don't want to rush it. Sorry...

Just a heads up to the judges. I have decided to go ahead and enter my fan edits into the contest. I dropped all the copies for the judges in the mail last night, so hopefully you all should receive them soon.

I just want to say thank you for all the efforts you made with the fan edit contest and thank you for letting the CBB group participate. Keep up the good work here and let's do some more fan edits, as long as it is possible.

My dear old friend Darth Enzo has completed the first of what will be four "collectible" covers for the Pearl Harbor re-edit. I'm uploading it for him so it gets in under the wire for this year's contest. The others will follow, but not until after the 1st. Way cool stuff.

Here's the link to cover one and the disc art (link will be good for one week).

Enjoy,
