I am currently posting the Dr. Gonzo 4-disc trilogy.
Curious to see which of the three known variants of Supplemental Material you've got ... or maybe a fourth!

Are we talking massive differences like different/better content or different menu's or is it small things like variations in the ifo/bup files.

Rowman's 3 disk Supplemental set has 3 versions which have different menu's on all 3 versions and much more and improved content on the latest set. Is the Dr Gonzo Supplemental Material as distinctive???

4 - 5 - 3 - 1 - 6 - 2

Discuss…

Who knows? I got it in a PIF earlier this year and the movie discs were downloaded from various torrent sites.

Yeah but its almost incomplete for 50%.

All the ANH and other gonzo trilogy files show as complete through Giganews (and I'm assuming for other premium servers, too) and binsearch.info says that only parts 19 & 20 are incomplete. The included par files should be more than enough to fix that. Sounds like the problem is with your provider. Besides, I can't repost because those files have already been deleted from my hard drive. Once I see that they're complete, they're gone. Sorry. If you're not using a premium server, then you will most likely encounter incomplete posts often.

So, the files ARE complete, just not through your provider. You're not trying to access through your ISP, are you?

I do have a Premium account (Telenet doesn't call them Premium but they match a Premium account), but I just found out Telenet is blocking there own newsgroup that gives me acces to a.b.starwars!

EDIT: I feel so stupid right now, I just subcribed to a usenet account, and am currently donwloading Gonzo's Trilogy.

Cost still seems to be the main issue.

However, using my suggestion of $25/£13 for 65GB probably works out cheaper than what many would donate to torrent sites for the same amount of downloaded data.

But, as stated previously, a mixture of torrents and newsgroups gives the best balance.

i use unlimited newsgroups for £9.08 per month using astraweb.com. very cheap indeed if anyone needs a cheap newsgroup server

I see Citizen's NTSC ESB is posted in DVD 5, Could somebody Post Citizen's NTSC ANH and ESB in DVD 9 (I'm looking for an excuse to burn DVD 9 discs)? Or if that doesn't suit how about Citizens NTSC ANH DVD 5? Thanks in advance.

Thanks segaflip, you're a credit to the community.

Sort of off/on topic:

I'm trying to determine what premium News Server I should use. Comcast's 2 Gb limit just don't cut it. I used to use Newsfeeds but they've gone to limits, as well.

So here is what I 've narrowed it down to.......Power Usenet or Usenetserver. Any opinions?
