Announcement and Book 6 previews:
Our treasured editor g00b has completed subtitling and chapter titling The Way of Mandalore Book 2, and I now have it in the drive. Like Book 1, this one will require new links as I moved everything over to a larger paid drive. If you want this .mkv version, please post here or DM me. Going forward when g00b eventually gets around to Book 3 it will no longer require new links. The last time you’ll need new links is when I put the entire saga on the new drive into one folder, with Book 6 included 😃 (coming soon ^tm)

Me too! Probably will be done color grading tonight or tomorrow, then I’ll do the first passthrough review watch on the whole film. Here’s some previews on the color philosophy:
“Rock World” is Ravaraan, a moon in the Mandalore system closer to the sun, so I wanted a hot, dry, red rock vibrant look that also brought out the colors of the Mandalorian armor a bit more.

I thought Kamino looks waaaay too dark and blue in BoBF, so for Boba’s dream sequence I have matched the Kamino apperance in AotC.

Tatooine has got this really weird thing going on where they go very red and saturated at night, then very cool blue in the day… To me, that is completely backwards for Tatooine. I keep night dark and the day looking hot (went for a TPM inspired Tatooine color).

Plazir underground looked a bit bland, and the purple lighting tint meshes well with the purple plants above ground.

Finally, in the show this scene is set during the day on Mandalore, whereas in mine it’s set on Nevarro at night.

Mandalore and Yavin will look akin to how they did in Book 5.
This is looking incredible!! I love that you’ve incorporated Boba so much here, his inclusion in the final battle seems like such a natural fit. I can’t wait to watch it in all its glory!
Absolutely, and I’ll tell you it works even better when you have his BoBF Battle of Tatooine plotline playing out leading up to his decision to join his vode on Mandalore.
