Not an update, but I would like to give something bizarre relating to this and my digital theatrical reconstruction. I had a dream a few days ago where I found out the seiyus in the Japanese dub of the commentary in the credits of the JP deluxe LD, bizarrely in English. Sucks though since before that dream I went to the credits on the actual Japanese deluxe release, and they were bizarrely uncredited, since they showed the same credits in English from the US deluxe release, even leaving the original commentary credits, which is very confusing since the rest were translated into Japanese, and the original commentary is unavailable on that release as well.
