UPDATE (12/08/25): Finally got the Japanese Deluxe CAV LaserDisc and one of the Chinese bootleg DVDs. The bootleg DVD does seem to be a reauthoring of the R3 DVD, though only the Taiwanese Mandarin and Cantonese dubs are included, as the Thai and Indonesian languages are only subtitled, so the only bet to find the Thai dub (since the Indonesian dub was done after the Blu-ray release) was to find a Thai VCD release. Speaking of subtitles, at least I think subtitles do look like they were made by the original authoring team themselves, especially since the Indonesian subtitles do look close to the NTSC English subtitles, though they were enlarged and I honestly don’t know if this was the bootleggers’ doing or Disney. And for the Japanese Deluxe LD, The analog tracks on that LD was only the Japanese dub of the film on the left, and the commentary track dubbed in the same language (with the English version of the film playing over it.). However, once I’ve done capturing the audio for the commentary, i noticed there are clicks and pops in the audio. I think my ESI U24XL seem to be working fine still, though I don’t know if it is showing signs the discs are rotting or not, or maybe the laser is starting to die out, I don’t know.
