Hello! This is a bit of an oddball post, so let me give a little background. About a decade ago I would browse the OT forums under a different account. I became invested in the preservation projects for Star Wars, and this would snowball into becoming interested in film preservation as a whole. A few years later, I would buy what I believe to be the original 35mm camera negatives to David Bowie and Mick Jagger’s 1985 music video for Dancing in the Street.

I didn’t have the faintest clue where to begin, and as such it would take some years for this restoration to come to fruition. I have to thank this forum for giving me the spark to undertake this journey. I finished it in 4K, and it’s currently on the Internet Archive and Vimeo. PM me for a link!
