đź–¤ Project History / Background
This is an introduction to Cat‑Woman Noir, my very first fan edit. It was a reimagining of Batman Returns, recut entirely down to focus on Catwoman’s storyline. It was rendered in strict black‑and‑white, heavily trimmed to center only her arc. Made a bit of a storm on reddit.
Now, I’m presenting Catwoman Noir: The Redux—a refined version of that earlier edit. While it still focuses on Catwoman’s plot, this redux retains a few altered decisions on what to keep or cut. Visually it’s no longer pure monochrome; instead it’s desaturated and darkened, overlaid with 16 mm‑style scratches and grain for a noir aesthetic. It’s currently a Work in Progress—not complete yet.
