Anyone know how to format, in pretty much any application, justified text so that the increased spacing is in between words rather than letters within words?
The Star Wars crawls keep the kerning within words consistent, and spaces out the words in order to achieve justified text. I can’t seem to figure out how to replicate this, and can only justify the normal way with letters spaced out rather than words.

Use non-breaking spaces
Instead of using a regular space, use the “non-breaking space” character (NBSP – Unicode U+00A0).
In Word, you can insert it with the combination:
Ctrl + Shift + Space
Then justify the line as usual.
Result: the letters are not stretched, only the space between NBSP words will be stretched.
