Duel: Spielberg’s first film has also been ruined by its remastered version. I don’t know what sounds they added or changed, as I haven’t seen the movie. I’m guessing they changed the truck’s horn or something like that.
Sad thing is… it’s so badly done that even upon first viewing you can tell every single new sound as it’s all high-fidelity cheap junk that clashes with audio quality of the dialog and music:

Oh, man, for last release they changed Strickland’s shotgun AGAIN:

How the hell did THAT get approved?!
BTW, oddly French 5.1 audio on the DVD’s had original sound effects. Why in God’s name they couldn’t have the English audio be like that as well is honestly infuriating…
Also, the camera flash at the end for the BTTF 3 trailer has been altered.
Anyways, I’d like to bring up 5.1 audio mix on Criterion’s 1953 War of the Worlds. Yes, the original audio is thankfully featured, but my God… this new mix is shockingly bad. What makes it even worse is that BEN BURTT was the one that was in charge of it. You’d think he of all people would know better which libraries to use, but nope… for example, watch the collapsing church roof scene during the movie’s final act. The cheap sounding hi-fidelity falling debris sound sticks out like a sore thumb… it’s so stupidly distracting.
