Hello!

I’ve been diving into the rabbit hole of 35mm transfers and fan restorations, as well as reading on a lot of the impressive personal projects people have undertaken for color grading. Ever since I started tracking down some of Kubrick’s open matte cuts, I’ve been interested in seeing how different edits in both framing and color balance can change the experience of a film and hopefully start a project of my own. Star wars is cool too, but my main draw is to find new appreciations for older films through contrasting edits.
