Porco Rosso. Pathe Canal + DVD 1999. Claims to be anamorphic its letterbox. Single layer DVD obviously the same interlaced transfer as the French laserdisc. Overly bright colors. Not the best transfer. It’s not the worst laserdisc master I’ve ever seen though. Kind of weird to watch with French opening titles, I am used to the Japanese ones with the marching Totoro logo.

I watched it in Japanese mono sound with no subtitles. Because all it has is French signs or French subtitles. the French 5.1 is the main track. The secondary track is Japanese stereo and, third option is Portuguese mono.
