Thanks for all the kind words about my old “Millennium” upscales. I’d still be here sharing and contributing, but someone decided to take those encodes - that were meant for fans of the show - and sell Blu-Rays on Ebay. While I enjoy upscaling things that will never get an HD release, and have upscaled dozens of series since, I hate that there are greedy people who take something meant to be shared and try to profit off it.
Cheers to the good people here. I know you outnumber the bad ones.

That is really sad to read, mate. That people would look to profit from others’ work and also endanger those projects and the larger community. Yes, it has been happening for years… yet still always disappointing to find out it still goes on.
I’d suggest to only share links with long-standing and trusted members of the community - with a request not to share the links with anyone else - if only to try and diminish the chances of these assholes getting access and profiting from and endangering the work that takes place on here.
Yet the other option, as I see it, is to continue to offer links to your projects… and don’t let these idiot assholes on ebay ‘win’. They’d like nothing better for project creators to withdraw their projects - so they can increase their profits by being ‘the only player in the game’, as it were. (It is easy to say that, I know.)
If you see a redditor or youtuber etc linking or talking about your project being for sale - you let them know they were made to be freely available (and still are) - and that person selling them has stolen your project and profiting from them.
eBay too - they will take them down if reported, they may soon spring up again, but they will act (albeit a thankless, tiresome and repetitive task - a few of us here did just that… and we saw a 6 month period where there were no ebay or etsy ales of Despecialized, 4K77, or adywan’s projects, etc - including takedowns of every online site advertising selling copies - bar one site).
Also, if you have any suspicions on who may be the person selling your work online - let the moderators on here know.
All the best with whatever you decide, TVArchive. 👍
As you say… and hopefully take some solace and joy from… the number of people on here you’ve made happy from your projects - which vastly outweighs these asshole thieves & sellers.
