In this clip, at around 5:36, there’s a moment from the Falcon’s cockpit view where it seems Lando has steered the ship to avoid hitting a wall, but the elements used for the ships in front of the Falcon move sideways along with the Falcon’s view in perfect unison, and this has always bothered me. It seems to just be a limitation of the effects at the time. I wonder, Adywan, do you see what I am talking about? And are there any plans to attempt a fix?

Also, does anyone even see what I’m talking about?

I think i see what you mean, And yes the mostion seems a little off however, it looks to me like the X-wing and A wing both move slightly before the POV as if they to were avoiding the obstical. Its a guess but maybe how they did this was use the same motion control sequence for all three elements then play them slightly out of sink, however for a couple of seconds in the middle the movement of the A-wing sinks up with the movement of the POV camera. Thats my guess. Good spot for sure.
