Well, it might be the wrong forum to answer in, hope no one minds.

When Segaflip comes back from his vacation, he'll be posting lots more. His Star Wars posts go to a.b.starwars. He's been crossposting the rest to a.b.dvd, a.b.dvd5, and a.b.superman.

If you have Giganews, Easynews (their web-search goes back about 30 days, their nntp might be catching up), Newshosting, or some other server with long retention, you could still get a few. Check "~~~Segaflip's Newsgroup Posting List~~~" over in the starwars fan-edit/release forum, here. Right now you might be able to get a couple of CLP releases (he posted those under the nym of "CLP Rep"), and the Dune Fanfiltration Edit. In a.b.starwars, the latest one was A Digital Man's Musical Journey.

You could also search "fan-edit", and variations of that on nfo.ngindex Oh, goody :-p, they're down for a few weeks.

Fansubs are kind-of a fan-edit, a.b.dvd.anime looks good. There's sub-dvd quality fansubs in other a.b.*.anime.* groups. (Usually very low quality, though).

A side note about Newshosting: their retention goes back farther than their ability to send headers. You can use BNR, or some other program to get that stuff with nzb's. If nzb's weren't posted, you can tediously get an nzb for each individual file at freenzbs (nzb also works for most premium servers).

And if you can get torrents to work, MySpleen is the place to go. If you try that, and need tech help, PM me.
