Star Wars The Clone Wars - Ahsoka

This is a project I’ve put together for my ESL classes. It’s a quick introduction to Ahsoka Tano and her earliest years as Anakin Skywalker’s Padawan. It’s comprised of five chapters covering different aspects of her growth. All the episodes have English subtitles for my students (as SRT files, not hardcoded). A fully-illustrated ESL reader is also included covering each episode.

CHAPTER 1 - LIFE & DEATH (16min)
This is adapted from the Tales of the Jedi episode with a quick bit from the Clone Wars episode ‘The Gathering’. This shows Ahsoka’s birth, the discovery of her Force abilities, and her meeting the Jedi Master Plo Kloon.

CHAPTER 2 - THE NEW PADAWAN (22min)
I’ve adapted this from Utinni’s wonderfut edit of the Clone Wars movie. It covers Ahsoka meeting with Anakin & Obi-Wan and their first adventure together.

CHAPTER 3 - MALEVOLENCE (30min)
I’ve adapted this from Eddie Dean’s excellent The Clone Wars Refocused project. Here, we see Ahsoka’s first big mission with Anakin and her learning to trust her instincts.

CHAPTER 4 - TERROR ON GEONOSIS (40min)
Again, this is adapted from Eddie Dean’s edit. This is the dark crucible part of Ahsoka’s journey. This is full-blown horror movie stuff.

CHAPTER 5 - PRACTICE MAKES PERFECT (9min)
This is adapted from the Tales of the Jedi episode with some minor cuts to the end. Our final chapter takes Ahsoka from fledgling student to hardened warrior thanks to Anakin’s unforgiving training.

There’s also a one hour cut of the Tartakovsky micro-series adapted from Porkula’s Game of Clones that covers Anakin’s evolution from hot-headed Padawan to Jedi Knight. An ESL reader adaptation is included there, too.

The edits are in the same folder as all my other edits. If you don’t alredy have the link, please send me a PRIVATE MESSAGE. As always, suggestions are welcome.

I’ve added Plo Kloon to the first chapter to better establish her relationship with him in Malevolence.

Thanks to Utinni, I realized that most of the edits I’ve made were at the ends of episodes, so I wouldn’t need to adjust the SRT files. As a result, I’ve removed the hardcoded subtitles and they can now be turned on and off.
