I do find the term protege of Filoni to be misleading he never was George’s protege, he was a cartoon showrunner.

If Lucas has a protege there are many choices, Steven Spielberg, or Ron Howard, or even Joe Johnston.

If that is the future of Star Wars a bunch of lame videogame deepfakes and cartoon Luke Skywalker you can count me out. Filoni and Favreau Mandoverse is the Marvelizing of SW and I’m not on board.
