Okay I’m sure someone has the answer to this. I watched this last night and it was amazing…except for one scene…

After Yoda dies and Ben comes to Luke, there has never been any score in that scene to my knowledge from the moment Ben shows up until Luke says “Leia”. But when I watched this with the 5.1 track, the entire scene is now very obviously scored, and it really stood out as wrong. 4K83 is so faithful to the original presentations, there must be a reason for this. I’ve owned Jedi on pretty much every format since VHS (I even had a cam before cams were a thing), and score was NEVER in this scene. Someone help.

The 1.0 release of 4K83 mistakenly included a custom soundtrack that was not theatrically accurate. I believe all subsequent releases have included a theatrical audio track by default, but frankly there are a lot of them and I haven’t watched them all to confirm.
