That does look impressive. Since I’m running a Mac, I’m going to hold off until they release the requirements snd framerates for the Mac version of Starlight Mini. (So far it’s Windows only, but they’re working on Mac and Linux.)

I’d love to try it out on my standard go-to scene, the opening of One Little Ship, to see how it handles the com badges, grey uniform piping, and console text. I do like what I can see of the piping in your Nemesis screen caps.

I can say Starlight has not solved the big issues previous models were having with burry/distorted versions of the Starfleet Badges. As Iris or even Proteus were doing, Starlight is tyring to create “faces” from the badges. This is what they told me when I asked Topaz team about that question:

“Unfortunately, in cases like this, there’s not much that can be done. What’s likely happening is that the model doesn’t have enough visual information to correctly interpret the Starfleet logos, especially when they’re low-res or obscured — so it defaults to treating them like facial features, which leads to the distortion you’re seeing.”

This is a screenshot from the example I sent them: https://imgur.com/ObUGc6p

One friend did a test with Starlight Mini in the same scene and it´s still doing that weird AI generation but not as evident as with the full Starlight model preview test on the web app. If they can´t fix that I would need to blur the badges every time this problem happens in all of this scenes.
