I’m glad to have found this forum - maybe someone here can help me.

TL;DR - Which editions of the TESB and ROTJ Unauthorized Timeline (TESBUT/ROTJUT) books have colour photos?

I read somewhere that both the ‘standard’ softback and hardback copies of the TEBSUT are all b&w, but that there was a now-unavailable limited edition release which had colour photos. Is this correct? And, if so, was this limited edition in softback, hardback, or both? And is there any way of telling the standard and limited edition apart from the front or back cover?

I’ve recently bought a softback copy of the ROTJUT, which is b&w throughout. I saw a photo in an Amazon review showing a page with a colour photo, and figured that the review photo must have been of the hardback edition. Either that, or - like the TESBUT - the ‘standard’ hardback is also b&w, with a limited edition in colour (the reviewer having bought the latter).

However, I’m now even more confused, seeing at least one photo in this thread (and, just now, the unboxing video by The Filmumentaries Podcast on YouTube) of colour images in a softback copy of ROTJUT!

Does the fact that I’m in the UK have any bearing? Were b&w editions released for the UK/Europe, and colour editions released for the States?

Basically, I would just like to know how - if possible - to get copies of both books in colour, preferably hardback but that’s a secondary consideration.

I’ve read various reviews, and visited various websites (hence ending up here) in an attempt to answer my questions for myself, but have not been able to. The only reference I’ve been able to find to colour images vs b&w images is a 1-star review on Amazon bemoaning the fact that, apart from the cover, the book is in b&w. [Edit: This review was for TESBUT]

If someone could help me untangle this, I’d be mighty grateful!
