I just wanted to say that I was able to watch the versions that are uploaded right now after completing Andor, and I am amazed at how much the music can change the feeling and tone of what is being watched. And I imagine that now that all the music from season 2 is available and we have the full context, this edit can only get even better.

With all this, I also wanted to comment on an idea that I couldn’t stop thinking about while watching the end of the last chapter of this edit, although I understand that it could be a change that would somewhat deviate from what this version of the film seeks.

It would be to include a shot of young Cassian with his sister as a brief flashback, replacing the shot of Cassian in the elevator with Jyn or on the beach itself when they see the explosion. I feel like this would close the circle regarding the series’ theme of his search for her at the very beginning. It could also represent that he almost sees Jyn as the embodiment of what he would have liked to have done with his lost sister, making Jyn’s inclusion feel less external to the rest of the Andor series despite her significant role at the end, but rather a closure to how everything began for him. A brief shot of them or Cassian looking for his sister could also be included in the recap at the beginning of that episode so that it doesn’t seem to come out of nowhere.

But well, it’s just an idea. Something I kept thinking at the end.
