I watched the purist version as well. If you’re going to include Joy of Editing’s version of the smoochy smooch scene you might as well use his versions of the speeder chase, Jango/asteroid field chase, and the droid factory. I felt the pacing was much better in those. A shortened version of the Yoda/Dooku lightsaber duel works better than the full thing or omitting it completely imo. Overall this is a good edit. I still like the inclusion of the training scene with Anakin and Obi-wan from the Kenobi show that is in Spence’s edit. I wish more edits would use that (the music choice could probably be improved though). If fact, if the color grades weren’t all so different I could probably make my own perfect edit sourcing from about three others but alas…
