Hmm...I never heard of Owen being Ben's brother. I like it better that Obi-Wan doesn't have any siblings. That would explain why he gave Luke to Owen and Ben didn't keep him himself to raise on Tatooine. I actually like (gasp!) what Lucas did making Uncle Owen be a step uncle for Luke. I really like how that turned out in the film. Simple, yet a big impact.

There are so many ways we could fix that glaring pot hole concerning Luke and Leia.

1) Anakin be responsible for his wife's death (not this "he broke my heart" crap). He could have picked her up with the force, choked her in mid-air, and then threw her against a wall/floor in anger. She goes down and is unconsious. The fall damaged her and now she is bleeding internally.

2) Padme had a chance at surviving her injuries with the help of the medical team, but she lost the will to live. Medically, the droids could save her, but she's giving up. She's lost the strength to save her self and the droids can only so much. They have to operate quickly in order to save the babies before it is too late.

3) Leia is born first. Obi-Wan bring her to Padme's side and she reaches out and touches her baby's face while naming her "Leia..." She screams and pushes out Luke and she reaches out for her baby and gives him the name of "Luke..." but she never touches him. She tells Obi-Wan that there is still good in Anakin, but dies in mid-sentance. Luke is still at Padme's feet crying, while Obi-Wan hold's Leia in his arms.

There. Problem solved. Damn you Lucas.
