By that you are implying that your life can no longer be enjoyed once you have a kid. While from your mother's point of view that may well be true, I'm sure some members here will tell you otherwise.

I'm implying that you should be single as long as possible from my point of view so that you can enjoy your OWN life, without having to put up with a marriage which these days, the odds are against you, and it probably won't last and you have to put up with a typically ungrateful son or daughter for at least 18 years. It's a living hell in my opinion. Have you ever read how Brave New World describes a typical family? Well, it basically reduces each member of a family to merely the propblems and pain they cause each other.
