You glossed over my key words: real-life politics - trying, at least, to refer to the current geopolitical climate at this current time, although i left room to misinterpret - whether you wanted to do that purposefully or not.

I shall rephrase: they are not announcing Andor as a gender empowerment or a geopolitical landscape on which actors can change the world on; they’re just trying to make a good story, and that is what the series is, has been presented as and has left the audience with.
