Is that Kenny Baker? The resolution of the image does not make it clear what is being looked at.
I was working on my 4K77 preservation, and I noticed something it this shot of Artoo turning his head. It seems that you can see the fingers of someone spinning their head with their hand. And at first I was like “that’s cool.” “Never seen that before.” Until I looked at the Blu-ray,y AND IT’S BEEN DIGITALLY REMOVED! I checked the visual comparison website, and it isn’t there either. Has anyone else seen this?

It’s someone’s fingers. Definitely not Baker, as he would be inside Artoo.

Huh I always thought it was just manual but from inside.
If the Special Editions merely cleaned up VFX errors like this and polished up some of the old matte lines and green screen issues, I would be a much more enthusiastic proponent of them.
