really liked this first 3 episodes and the format to release 3 eps for week too week, i think soo far it has a better beginning than the first season, more stuf happens and andor is in a very fucked situation but that aplly for any other character in the show hahaha, the cinematography and directing are really good and the acting is really great too 9/10 (for the 3 episodes)
and…
I loved the 3 epidode opener of season 2 and I think this show is ,indeed , some of the best Star Wars anything . For the most part , grounded and realistic , reflective of our own world and thought provoking ,at times uncomfortable ,but I think that is by design . My first thoughts after watching were…Ho Lee Shit ! They saw our future ,especially seeing as prduction of this season began in November of 2022 !
Pretty much sums up my thoughts too, mate.
It is really pleasing to see so much positivity online for Andor (from both critics and fans alike - which makes for a refreshing change; especially on the social media platforms - and also even the algorithm-promoted ‘/attention/hate-for-clicks’ content).
At the end of the third episode I just wanted to watch the next batch of episodes straight away - and I haven’t said or felt like that about Star Wars material in a long time. Kudos to everyone involved in this carefully crafted and beautifully executed series - and I hope the rest of the season is just as good and as compelling. 👍
A word of praise on the humour in this so far: it isn’t out of place or ‘too much’… nor did it break the tone or impact of the scenes before, during, or after it (unlike many previous Star Wars has featured over the years - all the way back to the Prequels).
