Well, here's an argument for that, Adam. You say you're always big on canon, and whatever George decides to put in or change is what Star Wars is, the end, no argument, right? Well, in your earlier post, you said that you'd be looking forward to the TV series, "regardless of quality." Well, what if the quality is so bad that it introduces horribly stupid plot points and just, overall, leaves a bad taste in your mouth. You'll now have to accept it as canon, and it will always be part of the Star Wars universe. Wouldn't you wish then that he had just left well enough alone?

Actually, anything in the TV series will be EU, therefore on the same level as anything else EU. Only the films can override anything. It will simply be the same situation as Clone Wars Volume II was: whatever may contradict anything else will be looked at as different interpretations of events. And, they'll try to fit everything in anyway, knowing Lucas Licsensing. And there's really not much EU yet set during that era. My guess is that the series creators will follow it as they will with the 3D clone wars.

The TV series will flop and it's a big waste of time. Star Wars is finished, let it finally burn, please.

Do we need everything explored? Does anyone care about character development? Do we need EVERYTHING spelled out for us?!

I just find it cool that things like that will be explored.
