Problem with me, Vegas or my computer?

To anyone with editing knowledge...
So I was opening up my Batman Forever edit project and decided to play it to see how it was coming out. Then I found that it had trouble playing and stuck all the time and the audio had become slightly funky (it definately wasn't like this before...). Does anybody have a clue what happened? I really hope I don't have to start all over again on this...

Hey bingy-

I know you've been trying to catch up with me but greencapt, like real life, can be elusive...

Just kidding- end of year work stuff is kicking my butt.

Anyhow....Are you trying to *play* you're project through Vegas? (IE the preview window)? If SO then the problem is probably just your computer- watching previews of feature-length projects, especially ones with lots of cuts, etc tend to boooooooogggg down the processor and RAM. Don't get me wrong- I love that software but unless you have Bruce Wayne's computer set-up than you're better off just picking a section of the film (maybe a 10 minute block) and rendering it so you can preview a bit at a time. Or just set the whole project to render over night, watch it and take good notes, and go back to the project. Hope this starts to help.

Thanks a lot greencapt! I'm sure that's all the problem is!
