My assumption is you’ve ripped the audio but it’s in a codec that Resolve doesn’t support. If it’s Dolby or DTS, you’ll have to convert it to something like AAC or Linear PCM in order to import it into Resolve. Also be aware, I just updated a Prequel series edit and at least one of the movies had 6.1 audio which is very rare. I was super confused when one of the surround channels was completely different than the other. In fact, I was trying to use 5.1 but there’s a center surround. I dropped it from the mix and everything else went fine. I’m actually posting a video guide today about doing surround editing and exporting in Davinci Resolve so give it a watch if that’s helpful!
