I had a line in the first draft of my Ep III reedit that said "Sith Lords will not share your compassion. If you let it, it will destroy you, as it almost did me." I ended up not using it and re-assembling those lines differently, but I did like how that line essentially boiled down what was in the script using Liam's existing dialogue. The notion being that his compassion is what led to his death, but is also what led him into eternal life.

I could probably scrounge it up if it suits your purpose. I think I kept all my rough drafts.
