Okay, so I recently watched a YouTube video showing a recording of a screening of the film in 35mm, and while SpongeBob and Patrick look more in line with the 4K Blu-ray version, that may be due to the camera angle, because Mindy’s skin is noticeably lighter and closer to the DVD/Blu-ray releases. I remember TonyWDA stating that the 35mm showing he went to in 2018 looked no different than the DVD/Blu-ray releases, but he has since stated he has started to doubt that. I am curious as to what you guys think of the video, here’s the link: https://t.co/UYg3LIJCXf Also, I’d like to note that Paramount likely used the original 35mm negative as the source of the 4K Blu-ray release and from what I’ve gathered about original negatives, is that they don’t usually carry the same color grading as 35mm prints.
